Dylan Murray - Ecotherapy

Ecotherapy is an activity that is supposed to improve a person's mental health as a therapeutic session. This is important and can be used for anyone, as it helps relieve the stress of many individuals. I thought about how mental institutions strictly have their patients stuck indoors and was interested in ways that maybe can help them heal faster. In research for this topic, I found that a certain mental institution allowed patients to see nature, as in documentaries, or physically go outside. In the end results, it turns out that ecotherapy actually helped the patients in the mental institutions. The results had less violence and have people express more happiness. This means that ecotherapy is clear evidence that it can help people who struggle in any given moment.
