Dylan Murray - Language and the environment

In the assignment this semester, which focused on language and the environment, I interpreted this as a point of view through famous writers who focused on the environment. I focused this writing around two authors, Emerson and Thoreau. I talk about how Nature by Emerson focuses on philosophical levels of writing and about how amazing nature sounds. Then going onto Thoreau, I try to navigate the difference between the two authors, with how Thoreau looks at nature from a slightly different perspective in a more scientific way. Again, I thought that these two really represent the origination of environmental literature and started the movement of language in this field of study.
