Water in Crisis: Paths to Sustainable Water Use

I came across this paper while looking for sources for the term paper. My paper is on water rights/use. The water documentary we watched in class got me interested in this topic and I thought I’d write about it. This particular paper highlights the need for sustainable water control. It also offers several solutions for the current problems. One of the solutions is international trade agreements on shared rivers, which I didn’t even think of. I thought of the Rio Grande River because it is essentially the border between the US and Mexico. I wondered if they have any agreement, and they do!  Which I find really interesting. I like how through this class I can start on one topic and then move on to find all kinds of new information. The worldwide water crisis has now become a topic that I am really interested in.
