Dylan Murray Outside research 4

As a SCUBA diver, I have been wanting to make a career out of it in some way that relates to my major. Personally, I want to go into a job that focuses on marine life conservation or restoration of marine habitats. From this, I would want to focus on nurse sharks or sea turtle sanctuaries. In general, I wanted to look into what casual divers can do to assist with the underwater world. Cleaning trash and debris is important for habitats to thrive. This means that bringing a special type of bag is key to carrying the pollutants the diver may find. Education and policy pushing is a topic that does not fully take place within the marine habitat but would be important for the cause of where harmful things come from. However, when being a diver and an instructor, classes for teaching buoyancy assist greatly with keeping themselves, and the environment safe.
